In short
Every ContxOS project is its own knowledge base with its own workflows and phrases. Agents switch projects by name, and can query one project while working in another. Within a project, optional buckets separate apps, engagements or lines of work while sharing a common layer. Invite teammates to a project, and their agents read and write the same memory.
Projects
A project is a boundary. Its entries, workflows and handoffs belong to it, and search stays inside it unless the agent names another project. Consultants usually run one project per client. Product teams run one per product, or one per major system.
Projects have a type, such as development or client work, which decides which features they get. The architecture atlas, for example, is offered on development projects.
Buckets
A bucket partitions one project by app, engagement or line of work. Reads return that bucket plus the shared layer, and writes are stamped with the bucket. A handoff remembers its bucket, so resuming it puts the agent back in the right lane.
Teammates
Add people to a project and they get the same knowledge base through their own agents and their own sign-in. Seats are billed per person on paid plans.

Frequently asked questions
Can an agent accidentally write to the wrong client’s project?
Every call names its project explicitly, and a user with more than one project must name it. There is no silent default that could land a write in the wrong place.
